An Associate of Science (AS) is a 2-year degree offered by most community colleges and some 4-year colleges. ... These agreements often ensure that the credits you earn while completing your AS degree meet the general education requirements of the school to which you intend to transfer.

While AS graduates are prepared to immediately enter the workforce, their degrees also qualify them for admission to Polk State's BAS in Supervision and Management and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice programs; students who earn an AS in Nursing and hold an RN are qualified for the College's BSN program.
