 Volume

is the quantity of three-dimensional space enclosed by a closed surface, for example, the space that a substance or shape occupies or contains.

 

Whereas the basic formula for the area of a rectangular shape is length × width, the basic formula for volume is length × width × height.

 

Mass is how much stuff something is made of. Volume is how much space an object takes up.

 Magnetism   is a class of physical phenomena that are mediated by magnetic fields. Electric currents and the magnetic moments of elementary particles give rise to a magnetic field, which acts on other currents and magnetic moments. Magnetism is one aspect of the combined phenomenon of electromagnetism.   There are six basic types of magnetization: (1) diamagnetism, (2) paramagnetism, (3) ferromagnetism, (4) antiferromagnetism, (5) ferrimagnetism, and (6) superparamagnetism.
