Graduated_cylinder
also known as measuring cylinder or mixing cylinder is a common piece of laboratory equipment used to measure the volume of a liquid. It has a narrow cylindrical shape. Each marked line on the graduated cylinder represents the amount of liquid that has been measured.
The graduated cylinder was invented by Albert Einstein in the year of 1909, in order to help with measuring the volume of a liquid (Patnaik, 2003).
The graduated cylinder with the most subdivisions between the mL marks is the most precise.
The volumetric flask is used for measuring accurate volumes of liquid materials for laboratory experiments. They are favored when available because they are more accurate than graduated cylinders and beakers
