Physical sciences are those academic disciplines that aim to uncover the underlying laws of nature - often written in the language of mathematics. It is a collective term for areas of study including astronomy, chemistry, materials science and physics.

 

An introductory course designed to allow students to explore the basic concepts of physical science. An introduction to the fundamental concepts of physics, chemistry, astronomy and earth science. Students will be encouraged to explore the relationship between science and everyday life.

 

“Physical Science” refers to the hard sciences ( Medicine, Biology, Astronomy, Geology, The Engineering Fields, etc ) and any other activity that depends on the use of the scientific method for advancement.
